Who will be my Advocate?

 

Your advocate may be a member of staff or a volunteer. All advocacy volunteers are trained and supported by staff.

How can they help?

Your advocate will be guided by you and can help in different ways, including:

  • Writing letters for you
  • Giving you information
  • Going to meetings with you

We cannot promise that because you have an advocate things will always go your way – but an advocate can make sure that you have had your say, your views have been heard and that you feel you have been listened to.
